Two oversized blooms rise six feet on twisting stems of iridescent light. Here is how our largest sculptural lamp to date came together in the studio.
Some lighting pieces are meant to sit in the corner of a room. This one was meant to stop people in the doorway.
Bloom stands six feet tall: two oversized roses at the top of twisting, iridescent stems that glow from within, rising out of a hammered-gold base.
From sketch to studio floor
Like all of our lighting work, Bloom started with a drawing. Wazir shaped the petals and stems by hand, while Franklin engineered the internal structure, wiring path and weighted base so a tall, top-heavy piece stands safely on its own.
Where a piece like this works
- Hotel and restaurant lobbies
- Weddings, galas and brand events
- Retail windows and showrooms
- Statement corners in private homes
Bloom grew out of our smaller rose and magnolia floor lamps, which we make to order in different sizes and colors.
